Booker: “I confess that I have been imperfect. I confess that I’ve been inadequate to the moment. I’ve confess that the Democratic Party has made terrible mistakes that gave a lane to this demagogue. I confess we all must look in the mirror and say ‘we will do better.’”
Okay now continue to take action like this when it counts (looking at you Schumer), and we’ve got ourselves some actual goddamn leadership.
Call your senators and tell them to get their ass in line to be the next up. They need to know we notice this stuff or they simply aren’t going to do it.
Right? I fully support Booker here but unless large groups of his colleagues start joining him (and even that may not be enough) it’s only so much farting in the wind.
Turn it on. Get the ratings up. Get it on the news for longer.
Don’t listen to the “now do…” Or “what about” people.
