Summary

Sen. Bernie Sanders, joined by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, has drawn record crowds on his “Fighting Oligarchy” tour, criticizing Trump and Musk for pushing government cuts and warning of a billionaire-driven oligarchy.

Sanders advocates for Democrats to reclaim working-class support by addressing income inequality, healthcare, and climate change.

Amid backlash against Trump’s chaotic governance, Sanders’ populist message resonates across the political spectrum, even as Democrats face low approval ratings.

Some party leaders, like Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, are beginning to adopt similar rhetoric to challenge Republican policies.

Yet democratic party leadership still thinks the winning strategy is to move further to the right, in support of the oligarchs!

I hope Walz and Sanders + AOC are at least talking to each other. I get it if they’re keeping it behind the scenes for now, but I do hope they’re communicating. They’re broadcasting on roughly the same wavelength, hitting roughly the same points.

Walz and AOC did a stream together during campaign season, so there’s probably a good chance they’re staying in relatively close communication.

“Oligarchy” is a meaningless term used by ineffective liberals who are afraid to oppose capitalism, imperialism, the state, etc.

In reality the entire system of the state is an oligarchy.
