Don’t know about that. Palestine was still pretty contentious, and a lot of the issues we’re dealing with today relate to British management of the territory.
That’s only because Israel didn’t exist yet.
There are very few rulers worse than Israel for indigenous people, so yeah I guess. Doesn’t mean the British were any good at it given that they, y’know, caused this whole mess. It’s a completely different situation from Hong Kong.
