$15 at an estate sale, I was definitely prepared to pay more. I’ve seen people finding such cool stuff at secondhand shops and had no luck myself, so I’m hoping I can get some life out of these.
Also got a plane (one of the adjustments doesn’t work but otherwise looks decent) and a Heath Kit power supply.

Nice Disston mitre saw! I have one just like it, they clean up very nicely!
Those two on the bottom look like the best of the lot. The one on the right is for a miter box.

do you sharpen them? and if so do what process do you use?
Usually you want to check if every tooth is bentvto the same angle left or right, and then sharpen each one with a file. But maybe that’s a “grandpa’s process” and there’s a better way

I have an old miller falls mitre box and hand saw I would also like to clean up. Any good places to read up on to start?
I use it frequently and would like to clean it up and make it look nice.
