what is the significance of 5000-1 ?
Basically odds of winning the Premier League is 5000/1 somebody bet £2 and won £10,000.
I’m not a big football fan but if I remember correctly the year before they were promoted to the premiership and I’m guessing those were their odds of winning the league that year. Which but some amazing feat they did. Still an amazing accomplishment in English football for a newly promoted team to win the top flight league.
Funny story, the ex player of Leicester, regarded as a legend, tweeted that if Leicester City won the Premier League, he will present his the Match of the Day just in his boxers and he kept to his word 😂
yeah, that was an amazing season for them. And inspiration for many underdogs
